Tagum Photo Contest 2011



Calling All Photographers in the Land

The Tagum City Mayor's Office through the City Information Office
and the City Tourism Office
are inviting amateur and professional photographers
hobbyist and photo enthusiast alike

to join in the
 Tagum Photo contest 2011
with the theme
“CITY OF TAGUM:  TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPES, TRANSFORMING LIVES”

The theme will be divided into 5 categories: 

1. Landmarks and Landscapes
2. Public Service
3. Economic development
4. Social services and Human security
5. Cross-cutting theme


Big cash  prizes will be given away

For each of the 5 categories
One (1) winning entry will receive Php 8,000.00
and a trophy

Also for each of the five (5) categories
Five (5) entries will be chosen by the Jurors
that will receive Php 1,500.00
and a certificate of recognition

Plus:  items and gift certificates are in-store
from the contest sponsors.

Winning entries will be part of the
Photo exhibit on  five (5) selected venues in Region 11
from May to November of this year.

And these will be included in the Coffee table book project
of the City Government of Tagum.

Update: 
 There will be a Briefing for the photo contest/exhibit mechanics
 this coming Saturday, May 14, 2011
@ 10:00 in the morning
at 3F SP-Tagum Bldng. (Session Hall), Bonifacio St., Tagum City .

The schedule of the guided photo safari will also be announced in the briefing.

  1. for info, there will be a photo contest briefing tomorrow morning 9:30 at the City Information Office, Rotary Park. Snacks and lunch are served free.
